This sculpture was sold as a pair. It was noted in price lists (but not clear in catalogs) as being a pair. The studio's marketing material would indicate two were sold for one price as a pair, but perhaps later sold individually. If found as an individual unit today, it is likely the piece is the survivor of a pair where one was damaged and discarded or otherwise lost or separated. Sold as an open edition, the Guardian Angels were retired in 1964.

Several color variations are known to exist. Measuring 12 1/2" tall, some design variations have been noted. Some have been found attached to a wooden base. At least four color variations are known to exist, but it's quite possible there are more. Measuring 5 1/2" tall no design variations have been noted. All colors share the same design number unlike other sculptures where Old Coin Gold and Cypia versions were given unique numbers. Sculptures were produced in:

Introduced in the early 1950s this angel measures 5 1/4" tall. She was retired by the late 1950's. Some minor color variations have been noted in the color (or absence of color) of her wings.. Design variations include floral crowns and the placement of leaves and stems around the rose on the front of her gown.

Measuring 8 1/2" tall the Angel Candlesticks were sold as a pair. If found as a single unit it should be understood the surviving unit lost its mate. Retired in the late 1950's.

Introduced in 2002 or after, this angel was sold by private appointment at the studio and online through the Cybis website. The only reference found relating to this piece was online from the studio's previous website. It was described as an addition to the nativity set produced in the 1980s. It measures 13" tall. The design number is unknown.
These examples may be the only known copies. They were sold at auction as part of the studio's liquidation in 2018.
