Flight Into Egypt
Released in the 1960 as design number 422.
This sculpture was one of three pieces the studio released in 1960 as limited editions in the Religious Collection (later renamed Biblical Collection). All three items were considered "Modern" in style. This departure from traditional sculpture was not a successful experiment for Cybis. With an initial declared issue restricted to 750, the studio quickly revised the edition's size downward to only 50 when orders failed to materialize. This number was obviously still too high for collector's tastes as it took 10 years to complete the edition, finally selling 50 copies by 1970. No price increases were noted from the time of introduction to retirement.

Flight Into Egypt can only be found in one size and finish. The sculpture was produced in:
- Parian white and attached to a wooden base
Sculptures are periodically found detached from the base or with the base missing. Any item without the base would not be as desirable as one still attached.
